Vic Guay
Lead / Rhythm Guitar – Vocals

Vic has had a passion for music from a very early start. Mostly exposed to Canadian French traditional music until 10 years of age. In the early 70’s he really became a fan of Canadian rock artists like April Wine and Stampeders, in his later teens Supertramp, Boston, Led Zeppelin, Eagles and Pink Floyd had a strong influence on him with the messages the songs resonated in him.

He got his start when a friend introduced him to playing acoustic guitar at 13 with songs like Last Kiss, Take it Easy by the Eagles. He fell in love with the guitar. Classic rock as we call it today were the hits of his teens and early 20’s. He'd always kept playing but mostly camp fires were the audience.

7 years ago music became very important with the unexpected loss of his wife. When offered the chance to play in a newly formed band called Busker’s Dream, he jumped at the chance. It was my life jacket, it gave me purpose.

At 47 “it was a late start” but he has made up for lost time with over 100 songs to date which he has covered and performed. Now with the newly formed band, Bordertown Catz, he is still expanding his love of music and live performing.

He has a wide array of guitar choices which he brings with him to the stage, lol.
