Ric has had interest in music from the early years, playing piano and achieved grade 1 in The Royal Conservatory of music when he was 12 years old.

​

He bought his first bass guitar when he was 15 and did the garage band thing for a few years, and then sold his equipment and moved to Toronto and never played again until his wife Sylvie bought him a new Yamaha Bass guitar for Christmas a few years ago. Because of her, he realized that he missed playing and picked up where he left off 30 years ago.

 

Ric has a variety of music influences from Kiss, Neil Young, CCR, John Cougar Mellencamp, Def Leppard and Tom Petty to name a few.

 

You can find Ric playing either his Yamaha 4 string Bass, Ibanez 5 string Bass or his new Christmas gift the Fender T-Bucket acoustic Bass.
